Built by Educators, Run by Heart

Director Maria Santos opened Sunshine Kids after 12 years as a kindergarten teacher. She saw how many children arrived at school without the foundational skills they needed — not because parents did not care, but because quality early learning was hard to find and harder to afford in Durango.
