How often should I come in for a cleaning?
Most patients benefit from cleanings every six months. If you have a history of gum disease or are at higher risk for cavities, we may recommend quarterly visits. We'll tell you what makes sense for your specific situation.
Does Summit accept my insurance?
We're in-network with Delta Dental, Cigna, Aetna, MetLife, United Concordia, and most major PPO plans. We also work with out-of-network benefits and will file your claims regardless. Call us with your plan name and we'll verify coverage before your appointment.
Do you see patients with dental anxiety?
Absolutely — and you're in good company. We offer nitrous oxide sedation and oral sedation for patients who need extra comfort. Many of our most nervous patients are now our most loyal ones.
Can I get a same-day crown?
Yes. Our CEREC system designs, mills, and fits permanent porcelain crowns in a single appointment. Most crowns are done in under two hours — no temporaries, no second visit.
Is teeth whitening safe for sensitive teeth?
Yes, when done professionally. We assess sensitivity before treatment and can adjust concentration or frequency. Take-home trays with lower-concentration gel are often better for sensitive patients than in-office whitening.
