Complete Skin Care, One Practice

Medical dermatology, surgical procedures, and cosmetic aesthetics — all delivered by board-certified specialists.

Medical Dermatology

Board-certified diagnosis and treatment for conditions affecting your skin's health and function.

Acne & Rosacea

We treat all grades of acne — from mild blackheads to severe nodular cystic acne — using topical retinoids, antibiotics, hormonal therapy, isotretinoin, and in-office procedures like cortisone injections and photodynamic therapy. Rosacea management includes vascular laser, azelaic acid, and trigger identification.

Clear skin after acne treatment

Eczema & Psoriasis

Chronic inflammatory conditions require long-term partnership, not one-time prescriptions. We offer biologics (dupilumab, secukinumab), phototherapy, targeted immunomodulators, and ongoing monitoring to help patients live comfortably in their skin every day.

Skin Cancer Screening & Treatment

Annual full-body skin checks with dermoscopy imaging are our gold standard. For confirmed skin cancers, we offer surgical excision, Mohs micrographic surgery referrals, and post-treatment scar management. Early detection saves lives.

Common Questions

Straight answers about our services and what to expect.

Does Clarity Dermatology accept insurance?

Yes. We accept most major insurance plans for medical dermatology services including skin exams, acne, eczema, and psoriasis treatment. Cosmetic procedures are not covered by insurance and are quoted transparently at consultation.

How long until I see results from acne treatment?

Most patients notice meaningful improvement within 6–8 weeks. Full clearance typically takes 3–6 months depending on the grade of acne and the treatment protocol. We schedule follow-up appointments at 8 weeks to assess progress and adjust the plan.

Are injectables safe for patients with darker skin tones?

Absolutely. Botox and fillers are safe for all skin tones. Laser and light-based treatments do require more care with melanin-rich skin, and we use appropriate wavelengths and parameters. Dr. Marchetti has extensive experience treating patients of all Fitzpatrick skin types.

What is the downtime for laser resurfacing?

Fractional CO2 resurfacing involves 5–7 days of redness and peeling. Lighter fractional erbium treatments involve 2–3 days of mild redness. IPL photofacials require minimal downtime — most patients return to normal activities the same day.

How often should I have a full-body skin check?

We recommend an annual full-body skin check for all adults over 25, and twice-yearly checks for patients with personal or family history of skin cancer, fair skin, or a history of significant sun exposure.
