Why We Started
Blue River Broadband was founded in 2019 by Durango residents who were tired of slow speeds, data caps, and calling a 1-800 number for support. We built our own fiber network from scratch, starting in downtown Durango and expanding outward block by block.
Today we serve over 4,200 homes and businesses across Durango, Bayfield, and surrounding La Plata County. Every dollar you pay stays local — funding network expansion, local jobs, and community partnerships.
