Our Story

We Built a Stage

Because every town deserves a room where the music sounds right.

Est. 2021

From Garage Shows to Main Stage

Durango had bars with live music. What it didn't have was a purpose-built venue with professional sound, lighting, and a room designed for the audience, not the landlord.

Ryan Cross and Dani Ortiz — both musicians and audio engineers — converted a warehouse on South Camino del Rio into Neon Circuit in 2021. They spent six months on acoustics alone before booking the first show.

How We Got Here

2021 — Grand Opening

First show: a local 5-band lineup. 450 people showed up. The sound was perfect. The mission was validated.

2022 — Touring Acts

Landed first national touring act. Word spread on the circuit: Neon Circuit treats artists right.

2023 — Comedy Nights

Added monthly comedy shows. Sold out 8 of 12 nights in the first year.

2024 — 200+ Shows

Crossed 200 shows in a calendar year. Hired a second full-time sound engineer.
