When she moved to Durango, she noticed something missing: a nail salon that combined genuine artistry with the hygiene standards and atmosphere of a luxury spa.
Mia built Velvet from the ground up — designing every detail from the custom velvet seating to the curated playlist that greets you at the door. She handpicked a team of certified nail technicians who share her obsession with precision, cleanliness, and making every client feel like they matter.
Today, Velvet Nail Lounge serves over 200 clients per week, has been featured in Durango Magazine's "Best of" list two years running, and has become the go-to salon for bridal parties, special occasions, and anyone who believes their nails are worth the investment.
