Our Mission
Renewal Community Alliance was founded with a simple conviction: faith without action is incomplete. We partner with churches, local government, and community organizations to address the real needs of families in La Plata County.
From after-school tutoring to emergency housing assistance, every program we run is designed to create measurable, lasting impact. We track outcomes because the families we serve deserve accountability, not just good intentions.
Our Programs
Targeted programs that create real change for families and individuals.
Family Support Services
Emergency food assistance, utility payment support, and case management for families facing crisis. We served 340 households last year.
Youth Leadership Academy
After-school mentoring and leadership development for teens ages 13-18. College prep, career exploration, and community service.
Community Meals Program
Free hot meals served every Wednesday evening at our community hall. Open to everyone. No questions asked. Averaging 120 guests weekly.
Housing & Job Assistance
Resume workshops, interview coaching, and partnerships with local employers. Emergency housing referrals and security deposit assistance.
