David Chen, PharmD, opened Pinecrest in 2005 because he believed independent pharmacies deliver better care. He was right. Twenty years later, Pinecrest serves over 4,000 patients with an error rate one-fifth the national average.
In 2019, Dr. Sarah Alvarez joined as co-owner, adding expertise in geriatric pharmacy and medication therapy management. Together they've built a pharmacy that feels more like a healthcare partner than a pill counter.
