Our Story
Verdant Salon & Studio opened in 2018 when founder Elena Moss left a high-volume chain salon and asked a simple question: what would it look like to do fewer appointments better?
The answer was a 900 square-foot studio on Main Ave designed around conversation, intention, and time. No double-booking. No rushing. Every client gets a full consultation, a personalized service, and a stylist who remembers what was discussed last visit.
Today Verdant has six stylists, a devoted client base of 1,200+, and a reputation in Durango for doing work that other salons say can't be done — color corrections, bond-damaged hair restoration, and curly hair cuts that actually behave.
