Our Story

Built on a Love of Animals

Dr. Megan Torres opened Paws & Pine in 2014 after a decade of emergency veterinary practice in Denver. She wanted to build a clinic where relationships with pets and their people could develop over years, not minutes.

Dr. James Whitfield joined in 2018, bringing expertise in avian and exotic medicine. Together they've created a practice that handles everything from puppy wellness visits to complex surgical cases.
