How Sage & Bloom Began

Lily Chen started Sage & Bloom after planning her sister's wedding and realizing that the planning process didn't have to be stressful. It could be joyful, creative, and deeply personal.

She left her career in interior design and launched Sage & Bloom in 2018 with a portfolio of one wedding (her sister's) and a conviction that mountain weddings deserved the same level of design as any New York City celebration.

We spend the first meeting listening to your love story, your values, and your vision. Design comes after understanding.

No Templates

Every wedding we create is designed from scratch. No Pinterest-board copying, no formula repetition.

Limited Roster

We take only 18-22 weddings per year. Every couple gets our full creative attention.

Mountain-First

We know the San Juans intimately — the light, the weather patterns, the venues, the hidden spots only locals know.
