Elena Vasquez — Founder & Head Sommelier
WSET Diploma, 8 years in European and American fine dining. Elena built Velvet & Vine around a single principle: every guest deserves a guide, not a gatekeeper.
Marco Chen — Wine Director
Court of Master Sommeliers Certified. Marco manages our cellar, leads winemaker partnerships, and runs the First Thursday tasting series. Ask him about his natural wine obsession.
Isabelle Park — Events & Hospitality
Former private events coordinator turned wine devotee. Isabelle produces all our winemaker dinners and blind tasting nights — with a perfectionist's eye for every detail.

Every bottle on our list has been tasted by Elena or Marco. We don't add a wine to the list because of its score or label — only because it genuinely moves us.

The most interesting wines express where they come from. We favor producers who work with their land, not against it — biodynamic, organic, and sustainable whenever quality allows.
