Our Philosophy
At 4,700 feet, our vineyards see 300 days of sunshine and dramatic day-night temperature swings that concentrate flavor in ways that sea-level grapes never experience. This altitude is our terroir.
We grow Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Riesling, and Viognier on 40 acres overlooking the Grand Mesa. Every bottle is estate-grown, hand-harvested, and aged in our underground cellar.
From vine to glass, every step is ours.
Every grape is grown on our 40-acre vineyard. No purchased fruit. What the land gives us is what goes in the bottle.
We pick by hand over 3 weeks each September. Sorting happens in the vineyard, not the winery.
Our wines age in a naturally cool underground cellar carved into the mesa. Constant 58 degrees, no energy cost.
Open Thursday through Monday. Seated tastings with vineyard views. No reservation needed for groups under 6.
Quarterly shipments of limited-production wines, member-only releases, and exclusive event invitations.
Harvest dinners, wine-pairing suppers, and sunset concerts among the vines. Seasonal calendar.

Harvest Dinner
Sunset Tasting
We've visited Napa, Sonoma, and Willamette. Mesa Winds holds its own. The Cabernet Franc is genuinely world-class. And the view makes everything taste even better.
The tasting was unhurried, educational, and personal. The sommelier knew every vineyard block and every barrel by name. You can taste the passion.
The harvest dinner was unforgettable — five courses paired with estate wines, served at a long table between the vines as the sun set. Truly magical.
Our tasting room is open Thursday through Monday. Walk-ins welcome for groups under 6.
