How Green Valley Began

Founders Mark and Lisa Chen were tired of driving 45 minutes to find organic produce that hadn't been shipped across the country. In 2015, they opened Green Valley with a simple idea: connect Durango directly to Colorado farms.

What started as a 600-square-foot produce stand is now a 4,000-square-foot market with a bulk foods section, artisan bakery counter, and a rotating selection from 30+ farm partners.
